Johnathan Raineau

Johnathan Raineau is a philanthropic businessman with investments across six countries. Fluent in French, English, and Spanish, he has lived in five different countries, enriching his global perspective.

After graduating from Johnson & Wales University, Mr. Raineau spent two years working for resorts before becoming an integral part of the family business. The business includes hotel and casino operations, online gaming, real estate developments, and biosecurity technology.

In 2010, Mr. Raineau built The Sheraton Hotel & Grand Casino San Jose in Costa Rica, which became one of Latin America’s premier entertainment destinations within five years.

As Managing Director of the Family Business since 2017, Johnathan is known for his open-door leadership style, identifying individual strengths within the group and fostering profitable relationships.

Despite his business success, Johnathan’s devotion to family remains paramount. He actively contributes to the Rotary Club, supporting underprivileged students and assisting young families and individuals in need. He also founded the Ludovic James Organization, which raises funds for charities that share their mission and values, furthering his philanthropic impact.

William “Bill” Riddick

An esteemed professional charity and benefit auctioneer, who plays a pivotal role at the Ludovic James Foundation. His extensive experience in leading various organizations and his expertise in auctioneering significantly contribute to the foundation’s mission of empowering underserved children through educational opportunities. At Ludovic James, Bill’s efforts are crucial in supporting other non-profits by organizing and providing unique auction items, often in collaboration with hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other partners. These items range from vacation experiences in exotic locations to private dining experiences, all aimed at generating funds for educational initiatives.

Bill’s commitment to the foundation’s core values, including accessibility, empowerment, community involvement, diversity and inclusion, transparency, and a focus on education, is evident in his work. By leveraging his network and skills, Bill helps the foundation present offerings at hundreds of auctions annually, attracting high net-worth individuals and supporting favorite non-profits across the country. His contribution is not just about raising funds; it’s about creating a brighter, more equitable world through education and community support.
